Monetary Donations

Medals4Mettle® is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that relies solely on volunteers to operate. We have no paid administration, so all monetary donations go directly towards our mission. We gratefully accept any monetary donation amount through Paypal or a mail in check to our home office: Medals4Mettle, 450 East 96th Street, Suite 500, Indianapolis, IN 46240.

Donation Opportunities

– $30 donation – you are eligible to receive, upon request, your own ribbon. The M4M ribbon can be attached to an earned medal of your own to give to a deserving recipient you may know. 

– $100 donation – you are eligible to receive a Medals4Mettle running cap or visor.

– $150.00 donation or more – you are eligible to receive a blue dri-fit Medals4Mettle unisex shirt. Shirt Size (Adult S, M, L, XL are available). Due to cost/postage, exchanges are not possible. 

Eligibility is contingent on donor providing their mailing address,  item type and item size to info@medals4mettle.org

Thanks for your interest in donating your hard-earned medals to provide support and encouragement to kids and adults fighting debilitating diseases and illnesses. We know how much sweat equity went into earning them and we really appreciate your selfless donation!

3 Easy Steps to donate your medal:

  1. Fill out the medal donation form to tell us about yourself and provide us with details about the meaning behind your medal donation.
  2. Find a local chapter near you to award your medals by visiting our Chapters Page . If no local chapters can be found, you may mail your medals to our Indianapolis location so we may award your medals through partnerships across the country.
  3. Prepare your medals to be mailed by removing the medal from its ribbon. We will award your medal with a clean, brilliantly-colored Medals4Mettle ribbon. Package your medal(s) in a large envelope/flat rate box with card board or bubble wrap around the medals.

PLEASE NOTE: we only accept earned endurance marathon, half-marathon, or triathlon medals. In the spirit of fostering philanthropy, we also accept medals earned by children who wish to donate them to other children. Please do not send badges, pins, patches, stickers, plaques, ribbons or trophies as these cannot be used. 

We also offer a special Medal Gift Request Program if you would like us to deliver a medal with a Medals4Mettle branded ribbon to a specific recipient that you designate. Please take a look at the Medal Gift Request Form for more information.
